Sections: K-3,
K-5, K-12 Under 1000, K-12 Open
5-round Swiss, G/30 for K-3 and K-5 sections 4-round
Swiss, G/45 for K-12 sections
Trophies: Top 9 players in each
of the K-3 and K-5 sections. Top Kindergarten player.
Top
6 players in the K-12 Under 1000 section. Top 4 players in the K-12 Open section.
Team Trophies: Top
3 teams in each of the K-3 and K-5 sections.
Top 2 teams in the K-12 Under 1000 and K-12 Open sections.
Team scores are from top 3 players from same school in a section.
A participation ribbon will be awarded
to anyone who does not win a trophy.
Entry fee: $14 if postmarked by
Mon., Jan. 30 $25 otherwise.
Free
entry to players rated over 1500 in February Supplement.
Registration: 7:45 - 8:30 am Advance registration is encouraged.
Those
not registered by 8:30 will have 1st round 1/2-point byes.
Round times for K-3 and K-5: 9:15,
10:30, 11:45, 1:15, 2:30
Round times for K-12 sections: 9:15, 11:00, 1:00, 2:45
One 1/2-point
bye is allowed. A bye for round 4 or 5 must be requested before round 2.
Requirements: Open
to all K-12 students. USCF membership is required.
